This is not a takedown of competitors
There are several good driving schools in Abbotsford. Ardas isn't trying to be the only school in town — we're trying to be the right school for the right student. This page is honest about where we shine and where another school might suit you better.
Our pricing — published, no hidden fees
- Driving Class — $55 (1-hour private lesson)
- Road Test Car Rental — $70 (use of our ICBC-approved dual-control vehicle for the official test, plus a quick controls check before)
- 1-Hour Class + Road Test Car — $120 (60-minute warm-up lesson immediately before the test, plus the test-day car — most popular bundle)
- 10-Class Package — $525 (saves $25 vs paying per class — best value for new drivers)
Lessons in English, Punjabi, and Hindi at no extra charge. Pick-up and drop-off available* across Abbotsford. Call (778) 300-3339 to book.
Where Ardas tends to be the best fit
- Punjabi or Hindi as a first language — we're trilingual at the same price. Many Abbotsford schools advertise multiple languages but charge a premium for non-English instruction; we don't
- Budget-conscious students — our 10-Class Package at $525 ($52.50/lesson) is among the lowest published rates in town
- Pickup-required learners — we don't operate a depot, every lesson has free pickup/drop-off in Abbotsford
- Beginners with anxiety — we work patiently with nervous drivers; pace adjusts to the learner
- Test-day bundle preference — our $120 1-Hour Class + Road Test Car bundle pairs warm-up + test in one transaction
Where another school might be a better fit
- You want a fixed classroom curriculum — some schools run group classroom sessions before in-car training. We don't; we go straight to in-car
- You need lessons outside Abbotsford — we serve Abbotsford only. Chilliwack, Mission, or Langley students should book locally there
- You want manual transmission lessons — we teach automatic; some schools offer manual
- You need 24/7 availability — we run Mon–Sun 8 AM to 8 PM; if you need 6 AM or 10 PM lessons, that's a different school
- You're outside BC's GLP — we're a BC-focused school. International commercial licence training is a different specialty
What we don't claim
Per our content rules, here are claims we deliberately don't make even though it'd be tempting marketing:
- We don't quote a "pass rate" — pass rate depends on how many lessons each student takes, and selecting only well-prepared students would inflate it
- We don't name specific ICBC examiners or claim to know their habits
- We don't claim to know "secret" road test routes — ICBC examiners pick routes from a documented set, and lessons in Abbotsford typically expose you to most of them
- We don't claim guaranteed pass — nobody can guarantee how an ICBC examiner will evaluate any individual driver on test day
- We don't give percentages on competitor pricing — those change frequently and any claim we make would be stale within months
How to actually decide
The most reliable signal is recent Google reviews. Look at:
- Volume — schools with 100+ reviews are more reliable than schools with 12
- Recency — reviews from the last 3-6 months matter more than 5-year-old ones
- Specificity — "great school!" tells you nothing; "instructor walked me through parallel parking 3 times until I got it" tells you a lot
- Negative review responses — does the school respond professionally, or get defensive?
Read our Google reviews, then read 2-3 other Abbotsford schools' reviews, then decide based on which approach matches your learning style. Honest comparison beats clever marketing every time.
